The Lawsuits - Last Night

Last night, I was caught in a dream, unfamiliar, a place unseen.
Last night, I couldn’t help but stare, those glowing eyes, standing right there.

I’m high on something but I can’t tell what, we’re in a movie but it seems uncut.
I’m picture framing, my feet are shakin’, I’m walking on some thin ice and it must be entertaining.
There’s a bright light shining in a pitch black room.
An illuminated silhouette divides into two.
I got one eye open and the other one’s blind. I can see everything and it’s you in my sight.

Last night, I was caught in a dream, unfamiliar, a place unseen.
Last night, I couldn’t help but stare, those glowing eyes, standing right there.
Last night, don’t stop it, baby please, you got me crawling on both of my knees
Last night, I couldn’t help but stare, oooooooooooooooooooo

I’m seeing things, shiny rings, circling round you.
I’m pushin’ through pink elephants to get to you

My eyes are tearing, its love I’m hearing from the ice breaking underneath my feet, I’m musketeering. Taking shots left and right, I’m getting lost in the war. Throwing bottles in the water, knockin’ on the neighbor’s door. I can’t sit still, I’m all over the place, I gotta find a way to get me out of this state. Oh wait, yeah I got it, let me spin us a top, we can find out if this dream is real or not.
